About me

Im very passionate about my Graphics work, and have been ever since i realized i am unique in an artistic way. I am great at drawing, digital work, and photography. Illustrations using the Adobe software being my favorite subject within the Graphic Design range. Predicted Triple Distinction as my final grade, and meeting my expectations, I will have more than enough UCAS points to be able to meet the entry requirements. I'm very interested in taking the Graphic Design course at Manchester Met University, reading the booklets and website information about the Graphic Design course study layout, i would enjoy taking part in the course. When attending the open day, i was taken on a Graphics tour through the Art Department, which i found very attractive in an artistic point of view. Leading me to want to participate in the course even more. Also living in Bolton the train to Manchester center is only 40 minutes, and driving around 35 minutes. meaning i can easily travel from home to University if i do not decide to live in student accommodation. The city of Manchester is great, i enjoy days out and the whole scenario of it, Meaning this University is my top choice. When finishing the course i hope to become a professional Freelance Graphic Designer or Illustrator.

Ship Illustration

This is a ship design i created ill Illustrator, to match the previous Owl illustration, as a Tattoo style piece.

Website Design

This website design I created to show my skateboard deck designs, i created using photoshop, and Dreamweaver, I scanned in my own carboard background and foreground, and created my shapes / images using photoshop, giving it a card home made effect, I then used dreamweaver and CSS coding to create the website as a scrolling page.

Ship Drawing

This is a drawing i have done of a Ship, it took me around 9 hours, firstly done in pencil then using fine liner pen to thicken and shade it. 

Vitruvian Man Photography

I created this design by taking photos of a class mate,  stood in different stances, i cut around the bodies and placed them on top of each other.

Then added my own background with texture.

Adidas Campaign

This is a poster design i created for the launch of Mi Adidas, The trainer i used as a pencil holder, to portray the image of the trainers able to be customized by the buyer. I vectored images of stationary, and created the typography in Illustrator, i also re created the logo.

Owl Illustration

I firstly drew out a tattoo style owl, scanned the image in and created it in Illustrator, i then created a banner and added some text also in a tattoo style. I have now put this design onto a T-shirt.

Octopus Illustration

This Octopus illustration i created again using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator, i did this for fun, and liked the outcome.

Name

This is my Sir name created in Illustrator for personal use, i created it using the pen tool, and applying gradients to add shadows and colours. I also created the squeezy bottle using the pen tool and revolve 3D'ing the shape.

Skateboard Photography

I chose a mountain board deck, printed my deck designs onto Vinyl and applied them to the deck.

Skateboard Designs

These are Skateboard designs i have created for the front and back of a deck, i used illustrator and photoshop to create these, influencing off the 1970's hippy style font and colours. 

Comic Book Front Cover

This is an Avatar Themed comic book cover, For a brief to create a Comic Cover on a Film. I created this using Adobe illustrator, taking images from the movie, and vectoring them to create the foreground character, and the background, i then created my own Font for the title.

Character Heads design.

These are 3 Character head designs i created, firstly by sketching out the ideas, then scanning these into the mac, using illustrator to create the shapes, changing features using the pen tool.
